Redesign of a medical platform for hospital pharmacies
End-to-end contribution to the redesign of a critical medication reconciliation platform in a regulated healthcare environment (CPS, e-CPS, HDS). From initial design to production: architecture, fullstack development, security, CI/CD, data management, and team support.
Presentation :
Within a health-tech startup, I contributed to the full redesign of a strategic product for hospital pharmacies. Joining at the very start of the project, I was involved in every stage — from technical scoping and architecture to development and deployment — in a highly regulated and mission-critical sector. This project combined life-critical business challenges (medication reconciliation) with strict security and compliance requirements (CPS/e-CPS, HDS).

Technical environment :
Core technologies: NestJS, Angular, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
DevOps & quality: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Sentry monitoring
Security: CPS / e-CPS authentication, JWT, 2FA, roles & permissions management
Methodology: Agile (sprint planning, ceremonies, close collaboration with product & business teams)

Challenge :
Design & architecture: initial technical scoping, technology choices, implementation of a scalable and modular fullstack architecture (generic components, factories, NPM modules).
Application development: creation of the medication reconciliation platform (prescription workflows, critical business logic), advanced UI features (drag & drop, sidebars, animations).
Security & compliance: CPS/e-CPS authentication, role-based access control, HDS and healthcare regulatory compliance.
Quality & reliability: company-wide testing strategy, CI/CD pipelines securing releases, proactive monitoring with Sentry.
Data & interoperability: data modeling, optimization of flows, integration with multiple APIs and databases.
Team & growth: onboarding and training of new hires, participation in recruitment, agile sprint planning, technology watch.
Summary :
This project was a full-cycle experience, from architecture to production delivery, in a mission-critical healthcare environment. The resulting platform meets strict security, reliability, and compliance requirements while leveraging a modern, scalable architecture. It also strengthened my skills in fullstack engineering, DevOps, and data management, and allowed me to actively support the growth and structuring of the team.
